Job Description:

A Warehouse Utility Worker ensures daily operations run smoothly by maintaining facility sanitation, organizing inventory, and assisting with material handling. Key responsibilities include cleaning, operating machinery like pallet jacks or forklifts, and supporting shipping/receiving teams to ensure a safe, orderly, and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe work environment by following all safety and ergonomic rules, including: PPE, Lockout Tagout, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), OSHA, Company Guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Use basic hand tools, cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies
• Operate forktruck (as needed) and/or other material handling equipment in order to move raw and WIP materials, skids, bins, etc. within production areas as well as stage product bins for shipment out of the building.
• Report all preventive maintenance (PM) needed for department machines to Production Supervisor and complete required PM work as assigned.
• Assist line team members in packaging and manufacturing duties

Education: High School

• High School Diploma
• Forklift Certification

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs),Standing / Walking,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Repetitive Motion,Pushing / Pulling,Manual Dexterity,PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)

Related Experience: Good written and verbal communication skills in English required., Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment required., Must be willing to work overtime as required, based on production demands, Cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
