This position is ideal for a designer who is comfortable executing within defined frameworks while contributing to concept development, prototyping, and usability validation.
Responsibilities:
Execute user interface design activities for web and mobile applications
Apply and adhere to established design systems and component libraries
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product marketing and software development teams
Translate requirements into intuitive, user-centered design solutions
Support design concept development, prototyping, and iteration
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively
Assist with usability testing and design validation activities
Ensure designs align with brand, accessibility, and usability standards
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices
Working understanding of user-centered design and concept generation
Experience creating prototypes using Figma
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and tools
Ability to work within structured design systems
Education:
High School

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
Understanding of design thinking frameworks and methodologies
Experience conducting or supporting design research and user testing
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Experience designing in regulated or healthcare-related environments is a plus (not required)
3???5 years of professional UX/UI or Interaction Design experience
Bachelor???s degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience collaborating within cross-functional product teams
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute designs accurately
This role may also be referred to as an Interaction Designer (IxD)
Fully remote role within Michigan
