Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable Value Stream Technician to join our team! In this role, you will help make high-quality metal parts from start to finish. You will work on different steps in our shop, including welding, operating a press brake, and grinding metal.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Metal: Operate machines to bend, cut, and shape sheet metal and steel parts.
• Weld & Grind: Use welding equipment to join metal pieces together. Use hand tools and grinders to smooth out welds and clean up edges.
• Run Press Brakes: Set up and run press brake machines to bend metal parts to the right angles.
• Check Your Work: Use simple measuring tools (like tape measures and calipers) to make sure parts match our blueprints.
• Keep It Safe: Follow all shop safety rules, wear your protective gear, and keep your workspace clean

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs)
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling

Skills:

• Experience: Hands-on experience with welding, press brake operation, or metal grinding.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read simple drawings or work instructions.
• Basic Math: Good with basic math and reading standard measurements.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and use hand tools safely.
• Good Work Ethic: Show up on time, pay attention to detail, and work well with others
