vendor management specialist, equipment & service.

The Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor relationships with service providers that maintain coffee machines across the country. The Specialist with ensure vendor compliance with company standards and support operational efficiency within the Equipment & Service division. The Specialist acts as a liaison between internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain service quality and cost-effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with equipment and service vendors to ensure adherence to contractual obligations
• Coordinate vendor business reviews and performance evaluations
• Support procurement activities including pricing negotiations and cost reduction initiatives
• Monitor compliance with company policies, including documentation and country-of-origin requirements
• Collaborate with Field Service and Supply Chain teams to resolve vendor-related issues
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with forecasting parts demand
• Facilitate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders for urgent service needs 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business or Supply Chain
• 2+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Compensation:
$24-$25 /hour (approximately $49,920-$52,000 annually) 

Schedule/Location: 
This position is full time (40 hours per week). Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. The Specialist will have the opportunity to work a combination of days remotely and in the office at the Smucker Orrville campus (most likely 60% remote, 40% in the office).
