Pay rate: $17:00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Flexibility requirement: You must be able and available to work earlier, later, and on weekends with little to no notice during peak election periods.
In this role, you will be the face and voice of the Election Center, handling critical data and assisting voters with a helpful, positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Voter support: Communicating with voters in person and over the phone to answer questions about registration, vote-by-mail, and general election information.
- Data management: Processing voter registrations, updating records, and learning to navigate specialized election software (FVRS applications?don't worry, we will train you!).
- Office reception: Managing the main phone lines, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages.
- Team collaboration: Staying flexible to meet deadlines, working on diversified projects, and supporting your teammates to achieve larger team goals.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus, though not required!
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- The ability to read and interpret applications, present information clearly to the public, and problem-solve effectively.
- You must be an active registered voter and able to pass a statewide background check.
