Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Flexibility Needed: Must be able and available to work extended hours, early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed with little or no advance notice, especially during peak election cycles.
In this dual-focused role, you will handle essential voter service operations while leading community outreach and communication efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Digital Content & Strategy: Maintain and update the official website; manage and create engaging content for Facebook and Instagram using Canva and other design tools.
- Community Engagement: Develop and schedule public awareness campaigns; coordinate, schedule, and participate in community outreach events, school visits, and business partnerships.
- Public Relations: Represent the office professionally at community events, deliver presentations, and assist with marketing initiatives to increase voter education.
- Core Voter Services: Process voter registrations, update voter records, answer and route incoming phone calls, and assist the public with general inquiries.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- English/Spanish skills are highly preferred, though not required.
- Prior experience with Canva, social media management, and basic website maintenance.
- Great organizational skills, the ability to meet strict deadlines, a collaborative teamwork mindset, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or acceptable equivalency.
- Must be an active registered voter.
- Ability to successfully pass a statewide background check.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Thorough knowledge of FVRS applications is a plus, but we will fully train you!
