Details & Compensation
Pay: $17.25-$17.50/hr
Shift: M-F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Shift flexibility for late days or Saturdays is required based on freight volume).
Location: Hammond, LA
Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving: Unload trailers, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute merchandise.
Logistics Support: Take check calls from drivers, validate load data for accounting, and monitor daily pick-ups to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory Control: Participate in counts and assemble products as needed.
Safety First: Maintain a clean, accessible warehouse and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Experience with handheld RF scanners.
Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
Basic computer proficiency for data validation.

High School

Qualifications:
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts (evenings/weekends) as needed.
Communication: Basic written and verbal skills for driver coordination.
Screening: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
