Job Description:
Spherion is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team. You will handle inventory, operate machinery, and support shop and customer orders. This role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding our company values. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean safe work environment
- Load and unload parts truck and freight deliveries
- Efficiently and accurately pick/put away parts
- Basic skills in shipping, receiving, freight in bound and out bound
- Ability to understand the basic principles of inventory control
- The ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
- Work independently & efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong customer service support experience in a mechanical / parts environment preferred.
Experience: 12 months
- Prior warehouse or forklift experience is a plus willing to train the right candidate
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments,Cold Environments
