Process Assistance: Assist operators with core shop processes, including racking, washing, stripping masking, drilling raw stock, placing tooling, and performing light mechanical assembly.
Material Handling & Logistics: Safely load, unload, and transport aerospace parts, raw materials, and supplies across work areas using pallets, skids, conveyors, or material handling equipment.

Machine Setup Support: Lift and secure heavy metal parts or stock onto machine tables, chucks, or holding fixtures to assist with machine setups.
Technical Compliance: Read and follow manufacturing "travelers" and technical work instructions to ensure precise processing.
Tool & Hardware Maintenance: Safely operate hand tools and material handling equipment; clean and maintain shop hardware such as hooks, chains, and shackles.
Safety & Hazardous Waste: Properly handle, store, and manage hazardous waste generated in the work area according to company safety protocols.
Shop Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine cleanup operations, providing general support to shop personnel as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Technical Reading & Comprehension: Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow simple directions, manufacturing travelers, work instructions, part numbers, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one situations.
Instruction & Task Execution: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out straightforward, multi-step tasks and follow direct instructions from leads, supervisors, or managers.
Problem Solving & Adaptability: Sound critical thinking and decision-making skills; comfortable handling standardized, routine work environments with minimal variables.
Compliance: Strong commitment to adhering to all company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Skills:
Good Thinker: Able to think fast and make good decisions if a small problem comes up.
Good Communicator: Able to talk clearly and share information easily with a coworker or boss.
Aerospace Experience: It's a plus if you have worked around airplane parts or factory tools before.
