We are seeking a reliable and motivated Temporary Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join our team in Katy, TX. This is a short-term, temporary assignment lasting approximately 2-3 months, with an immediate start date. Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, and stage roofing materials.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, picking, packing, and organizing inventory.
Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols.
Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure daily goals are met.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience handling heavy building materials, specifically commercial or residential roofing products.
Certified forklift operator license is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at 6:00 AM and lasting between 8 to 10 hours a day (up to 4:00 PM or until the work is complete).
Must possess and wear your own steel-toed shoes (Safety vest and gloves will be provided on-site).
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to start immediately.
