Job Description:
As a Welder Fabrication you would be responsible for welding steel products. You would also be utilizing fabrication tools as well.
Responsibilities:
- Welding steel subassemblies to meet production and quality standards
- Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Utilizing fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears
- Creating work templates using a computerized system
- Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
- AWS B2.1/B21M qualified welder
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S
- Familiarity with ERP and SAP
Physical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
