Your Role and ImpactAs a member of our welding team, you will utilize GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW processes, along with various cutting techniques (oxy-fuel, carbon arc, and plasma), to manufacture high-quality components. We hire across three proficiency levels, ensuring you are placed in a role that matches your current expertise while providing the training needed to reach the next level.Entry Level (Level I)Develop your skills under direct mentorship and supervision.Apply a foundational understanding of welding processes, blueprints, and weld symbols.Maintain equipment and learn to set machine parameters according to specifications.Work with common materials including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.Intermediate Level (Level II)Work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrate proficiency in AWS requirements and Welding Procedure Specifications.Utilize advanced blueprint reading skills and precision cutting techniques for shapes and bevels.Master at least one primary welding process.Expert Level (Level III)Showcase mastery in multiple welding and cutting processes with a focus on high-efficiency and minimal rework.Apply knowledge of metallurgy, including managing distortion and contamination.Perform complex unit conversions (metric/standard) and troubleshoot equipment issues.Act as a mentor to Level I and II welders, sharing your expertise with the team.

Physical Requirements & EnvironmentThis is a hands-on role in a dynamic fabrication shop. You should be comfortable standing, bending, and twisting throughout your shift and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Safety is our top priority; you will be provided with and required to wear standard PPE, including welding helmets and safety-toed boots, to protect against heat, debris, and fumes.
QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED.Experience: * Level I: 0-2 years of experience or technical training.Level II: 2+ years of experience.Level III: 5+ years of experience.Technical Skills: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and a commitment to quality and safety.Team Mindset: A positive attitude toward collaborative work and a desire for continuous improvement.Compliance: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
