As a Welder, you will lead complex fabrication projects from raw materials to finished products. You will be responsible for high-stakes welding tasks, including structural components, pressurized systems, and custom industrial assemblies. Responsibilities:
Execute high-quality welds using GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and SMAW (Stick) processes on various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Read and interpret sophisticated engineering drawings, weld symbols, and technical specifications with zero oversight.
Perform complex layouts, fitting, and tacking. Use torch cutting, plasma cutting, and grinding equipment to prep materials to exact tolerances.
Conduct visual inspections and dye-penetrant testing to ensure welds are free of defects (porosity, undercut, or slag inclusions).
Calibrate and maintain welding machines; troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain peak performance.
Provide guidance to junior welders and helpers to maintain a high standard of craftsmanship across the floor.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with exotic alloys (Inconel, Monel, or Titanium).
Proven track record in 6G pipe welding and pressure vessel fabrication.
Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts to move large-scale assemblies.
Ability to identify design flaws in blueprints and suggest structural improvements before fabrication begins.

Minimum of 3???5 years of professional welding experience in an industrial or heavy fabrication environment.
Proficiency in shop math, including geometry and trigonometry, for calculating angles, offsets, and material take-offs.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and maintain precision while standing for extended periods.
Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and a "safety-first" mindset regarding PPE and shop hazards.
