We are seeking an Experienced Welder. In this role, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and components using a variety of welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience working with diverse metals (such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum) and must be able to deliver high-quality, structurally sound welds that meet strict industry standards. Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals based on project specifications.
Interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and welding symbols to accurately plan layouts and execution sequences.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, or grind component parts to obtain required configurations and positions before final welding.
Conduct visual inspections of finished welds to detect flaws, cracks, or thermal distortion, ensuring full compliance with welding codes.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain welding machines, torches, and regulating gases; troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
Strictly follow all shop safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workstation.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Active welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, or ASME) are highly preferred.
3+ years of experience in a structural layout, heavy equipment fabrication, or custom job shop environment.
Experience operating plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, band saws, and ironworkers.
Ability to adapt to non-standard repair jobs and devise efficient fabrication solutions on the fly.

Qualifications:
Proven expertise in multiple welding processes (GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG, and SMAW/Stick).
Strong understanding of metallurgy, including how different metals react to heat and the appropriate filler metals to use.
Advanced ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and AWS welding symbols.
Skilled in using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares) to ensure tight tolerances and exact fit-ups.
Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperature environments, and manipulate heavy metal components.
