Job Description:
As a Welder you would be responsible for welding, cutting, and brazing metal pieces and products.
Responsibilities:
- Welding, cutting, and brazing metal pieces and products
- Repairing and fabricating various items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques/equipment
- Monitoring the welding process to ensure products do not overheat or get damaged
- Planning work orders and gather proper tools and materials
- Preparing, assembling and tack welding parts
- Maintaining an organized and safe working environment
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical certification or applicable work experience (preferred)
Experience: 12 months
- Understanding of tools and machines used during the welding process
- Understanding on design techniques and required tools
- Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with measurement devices
- Basic understanding of math
Physical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead
