Job Description:
As a Welder you would be responsible for welding, cutting, and brazing metal parts and products. You would also make sure the quality of your work meets the proper specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Join, cut, and heat metal parts using welding equipment and techniques
- Repair or create products using welding and cutting tools
- Ensure metal does not overheat or get damaged during the welding process
- Read work orders to prepare materials and tools properly
- Keep a clean and organized work area
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical certification or similar work experience (preferred)
Experience: 12 months
- Understanding of tools and machines used during the welding process
- Understanding of design techniques and required tools
- Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with measurement devices
- Basic understanding of math
Physical:
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
