We are seeking a motivated Welder to join our 100% onsite manufacturing team. This position involves welding, fabricating, and repairing custom assemblies made from standard and specialty metals. Responsibilities:
Operate shop equipment to assemble structural components and perform welding tasks according to job specifications.
Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and TIG power sources.
Perform clean structural welds using ARC equipment and wire feeders.
Fabricate and assemble component parts, custom fixtures, and shop equipment.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to determine joint geometry and assembly requirements.
Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company safety and manufacturing procedures.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Welding certification from an accredited institution.
Experience with GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes.
Experience with stick/manual ARC welding.
Experience fabricating structural assemblies and custom components.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
Knowledge of shop geometry and basic trigonometry.
Experience working with precision measuring tools.
Ability to document work processes and complete routine reports.
Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with specialty or exotic metals and alloys.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of hands-on welding or metal fabrication experience.
Experience working with various metals; experience with specialty or exotic alloys is a plus.
Basic knowledge of joint preparation, fit-up, and manual welding techniques.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and job specifications.
Ability to use basic measuring tools.
Ability to work 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow workplace safety procedures.
