Franchise Business Review’s Independent Survey Shows Female Franchisees Are Highly Satisfied with U.S. Staffing Leader
ATLANTA – Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) announced today that it has been recognized by Franchise Business Review (FBR) as a 2026 Top Franchise for Women for its fourth consecutive year. Only 100 brands were named to the annual list, further reinforcing Spherion as a reputable and attractive business model for female entrepreneurs.
FBR is a market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchises to measure satisfaction and performance. So far this year, Spherion has been recognized as both a Top Franchise for Excellence and Satisfaction for fostering a positive workplace where franchisees feel valued and supported. In 2025, FBR honored Spherion with six awards in the following categories: Top 200 Franchises, Most Profitable Franchises, Franchise Rock Star, Top Franchises for Veterans, Top Franchises for Culture, and Top Franchises for Women.
“Earning this recognition as a Top Franchise for Women for the fourth year in a row is especially meaningful because it reflects the incredible women who help shape the Spherion community every day,” said Kathy George, president of Spherion. “One of the greatest privileges of my career has been mentoring and learning alongside women who are building businesses, supporting their teams, and making a lasting impact in their communities. At Spherion, we’re committed to creating a culture where women in franchising feel supported, encouraged and confident taking that next step in their entrepreneurial journey.”
Spherion was among 320 franchise brands, representing more than 8,550 female franchise owners, that participated in FBR’s research on the Top Franchises for Women. Spherion franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction across key areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training and support, financial opportunity, and work/life balance.
Spherion brandishes the power of local through a network of independent and empowered franchisees. Each Spherion franchisee enriches their community through connecting and facilitating employment opportunities every day—and when they’re successful together, their investments flow back into the neighborhoods where they live and work. The power of Spherion is in its local roots.
