Duties and Responsibilities:Work Direction and Training: Provide on-the-job work direction to warehouse workers and assist in training new employees to develop high levels of skill and job proficiency.Operational Oversight: Review daily production requirements with the Plant Manager and assign tasks to personnel to ensure the efficient flow of inbound and outbound products.Inventory and Quality Control: Compare receiving tallies against manifests for accuracy, record product temperatures, document package dimensions/weights, and investigate any damaged goods.Logistics Documentation: Prepare inbound paperwork with specific aisle and rack locations and process shipping documents to ensure all special handling requests are understood by the team.Safety and Equipment Maintenance: Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, notify management of equipment issues, and utilize specialized tools such as RF scanners, CRTs, and air monitors.Forklift Operation: Operation of a combination of seated and standing forklifts to support facility productivity

Previous team management experience within a warehouse environment Previous food warehouse experience
