The Accountant performs advanced professional accounting duties supporting financial aid accounting, grant accounting, restricted funds administration, cash management, receivables management, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, drawdown activities, deferred revenue accounting, foundation accounting, and institutional compliance requirements. The position serves as the primary accounting resource for federal and state financial aid reconciliations, grant invoicing and receivables, restricted fund accounting, auxiliary accounting, and assigned special revenue programs.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Aid Accounting, Scholarship Administration, and State Program Compliance
- Grant Accounting, Restricted Funds Administration, and Foundation Accounting
- Cash Management, Receivables, Bank Reconciliations, and Deferred Revenue Accounting
- Financial Reporting, Month-End Close, and Regulatory Compliance
- Auxiliary Operations, Special Projects, and Systems Support
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Governmental accounting experience
- Higher education accounting experience
- Grant accounting experience
- Financial aid accounting experience
- Workday Financial Management experience
- Experience with federal grant drawdowns and compliance reporting

Bachelors

Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Three years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting systems
- Experience working with complex financial data and reporting requirements
