Responsibilities:
Supporting Club financial operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash handling, and month end closing tasks.
Monitoring electronic invoice approval workflows in Beanworks, coding general ledger accounts, and processing vendor checks and credit card statements.
Managing vendor relationships, reconciling vendor statements against aging reports, and handling W9 forms and tax exempt documentation.
Reconciling petty cash funds and supporting specific operational cash needs.
Auditing daily point of sale chits, updating end of day activity to member accounts, and generating monthly billing statements.
Processing cash and credit card payments, preparing bank deposits, and resolving member account inquiries professionally.
Processing credit memos, manual sub ledger adjustments, tenant fee schedules, and accounts receivable aging reports.
Maintaining fixed asset registers in Asset Keeper, logging asset additions and disposals, and retaining capital project documentation.
Upholding internal controls, safeguarding confidential financial information, and assisting Director of Finance with special projects and audit documentation.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 AM
Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated accounting experience, ideally within a private club or hospitality environment.
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Proficiency with club specific accounting systems and financial software, such as Asset Keeper, CSI Payments, or Elavon.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proficiency in the accounting systems Jonas and Beanworks.
Proven background in accounting within the hospitality industry or a country club.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Sound judgment in handling confidential financial data and a track record of consistently meeting recurring weekly, monthly, and year-end deadlines.
