Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Revenue: Perform full-cycle bookkeeping functions; record and post revenue and cash receipts accurately and timely.
AP/AR Management: Review and post vendor bills, process payments, and monitor AR/AP aging to follow up on outstanding items.
Reconciliations: Perform credit card and vendor statement reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Month-End & Tax: Assist with the month-end close process for AR/AP (including account reconciliations) and prepare/file 1099 forms in accordance with IRS requirements.
Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and established accounting procedures.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Industry Software: Experience with EzyVet is a major plus.
Background: Experience working in a veterinary, healthcare, or multi-location environment.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
