This role is responsible for the full-cycle AP process, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring all payments are issued accurately and on time. Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM
Responsibilities:
Manage 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable duties, including invoice coding, three-way matching, and managing weekly check runs.
Audit and process invoices subject to Prevailing Wage requirements.
Verify labor classifications and certified payroll documentation to ensure adherence to the Davis-Bacon Act.
Resolve discrepancies in complex subcontract agreements and negotiate with vendors to settle billing issues.
Maintain standard tax documentation, including W-9 collection and 1099 processing.
Maintain high accuracy during high-volume data entry to ensure the integrity of financial records.

Qualifications:
2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience.
Prior experience in the construction or government contracting sectors is required.
Direct experience with Davis-Bacon Act and Prevailing Wage regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mid-to-high-level accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks).
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with subcontractors and internal project managers.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to handle high-volume processing without sacrificing accuracy.
