What You’ll Do
You will handle the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring the engine of our financial department runs smoothly and on time.

- Full-Cycle AP: Manage invoice coding, three-way matching, and weekly check runs.
- Compliance Expert: Audit and process invoices that fall under Prevailing Wage requirements.
- Regulatory Support: Verify labor classifications and certified payroll documents to ensure we stay in lockstep with the Davis-Bacon Act.
- Problem Solver: Resolve complex subcontract agreement discrepancies and negotiate with vendors to settle billing issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain essential tax documentation, including W-9 collections and 1099 processing.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who understands the unique pace and requirements of the construction industry.
- Experience: At least 2+ years of dedicated, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in construction or government contracting is required for this role.
- Technical Compliance: Direct experience working with Davis-Bacon Act and Prevailing Wage regulations.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software like Sage, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks.
- Precision: High-volume data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and financial integrity.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with subcontractors and internal project managers.
