Responsibilities:
We need someone to manage the phones and ensure every caller feels heard and helped. Your daily tasks will include:
Answering Phones: You will act as the first point of contact for the agency, answering incoming calls with kindness and professionalism.
Logging Calls: You will keep a simple, accurate daily log of who called and what they needed.
Data Entry: You will help the team by entering information into the computer system.
General Support: You will assist with basic office tasks to help the day run smoothly.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Bilingual Skills: If you speak Spanish, that is a major advantage for this position, as it allows us to serve more members of our community. However, it is not a requirement.
Prior Experience: Previous experience in an office environment or a receptionist role is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person.

Qualifications:
Communication Skills: You must be able to speak clearly and politely on the telephone. You will serve as the first person a caller speaks to, so a friendly tone is essential.
Computer Basics: You must be comfortable using a computer to enter data and type daily logs.
Reliability: You must be able to work the scheduled 30 hours per week consistently. We rely on you to be there for our team and the community.
Attention to Detail: You must be able to record information accurately when logging calls.
