As an Instructor, you will deliver existing content centered on aerospace manufacturing systems. Your responsibilities include leading practical demonstrations to empower aerospace employees with essential skills and knowledge for their success.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to teach a variety of aerospace courses. This role involves providing training in several key areas, including electrical installations, mechanical skills, sealant application, and environmental health and safety.

We're looking for dedicated candidates who are flexible and open to working across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and willing to travel within the Everett to Puyallup area.
Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the closest work location-$0.70 per mile!
Weekly pay through Spherion
Pay rate: $32/hour
Overtime opportunities available - earn $48/hour for extra shifts!

Responsibilities:
-Deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practices
-Provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring aerospace employees gain hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipment
-Assess aerospace employees performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
-Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education provided
-Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocol
Instruct students in various aerospace subjects, including but not limited to:
Electrical Instructor - Electrical Aircraft installations and assemble work - Electrical Functional Test troubleshooting - Electrical crimping - Electrical soldering - Basic mechanical skills
Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor - Electrical installations, Bonding & Grounding - Aircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling, and/or Maintenance - Blueprints, productions standards, and/or Functional Test - Aircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshooting
Aerospace Seal Instructor - Experience in the application of Aircraft Sealant application - Clean and apply a sealant to aircraft components
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Instructor - Experience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall Protection
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Ability to instruct technical courses in the Aerospace industry
Manage basic technology to deliver training
Prior experience working for an aerospace company is desired

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not required
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
