We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician with a strong foundation in commercial electrical work and clean-energy power systems to join our field team. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside licensed Journeyman Electricians to install, wire, and maintain high-level infrastructure, including commercial switchgear, transformers, solar PV, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

You will assist with complex commercial electrical installations from underground rough-ins through system commissioning. You'll gain direct experience handling power distribution equipment, step-up/step-down transformers, solar inverters, and custom control panel wiring while maintaining safe job sites and code-compliant work.
Responsibilities:
System Installation Support: Assist with placing, setting, and terminating commercial switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, and power conversion equipment.
BESS & Solar Integration: Help assemble, wire, and mount commercial Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar PV racks, and high-voltage DC equipment.
Conduit & Wire Running: Bend and install EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduit; execute heavy cable pulls, feeder runs, and tray layouts.
Control Wiring: Assist with wiring control panels, PLCs, motor control centers (MCCs), and wire tagging under Journeyman supervision.
Testing & Safety: Help perform basic testing (continuity, voltage checks, megger testing), maintain clean work areas, and strictly follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Direct experience with commercial solar PV, BESS enclosures, or control panel assembly.
Scissor lift / Boom lift certification.

Qualifications:
Active Electrical Apprentice Registration/Card in [State].
1?3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience (residential experience with BESS/Solar is acceptable).
Hands-on experience working with conduit bending, wire pulls, and basic electrical terminations.
Ability to read basic single-line diagrams, point-to-point schematics, and mechanical layouts.
Working knowledge of standard power tools, digital multimeters, and basic NEC guidelines.
Active OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 is a plus).
Valid Driver?s License, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
