Spherion is working with a premier manufacturing company in Horicon, WI for 3rd shift Assembler opportunities! You will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies for high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation: Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Component Positioning: Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Mechanical Assembly: Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Quality Assurance: Verify specifications by measuring completed components. Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, or notify supervisors to obtain additional resources.
Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
Inventory Control: Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing/expediting orders, and verifying the receipt of supplies.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and corporate/plant safety standards.
What You'll Bring
High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent
Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly.
Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.
Strong basic math skills.
Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Good finger and hand dexterity for handling hardware and tools.
