We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead an assembly department for our client in Superior, WI. This is a direct-hire, permanent career opportunity for a leader who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and fostering a culture of safety. As the bridge between the assembly floor and the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of assemblers, manage daily workflows, and play a vital role in the long-term growth of the department.

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor assembly staff to meet productivity goals.
- Workflow Management: Schedule daily operations and coordinate with CNC and Shipping departments to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Personnel Management: Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations in partnership with HR.
- Operational Safety: Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace and champion a "safety-first" culture.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the operation and maintenance of engraving equipment, including staff training on file programming.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce waste and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Administrative Duties: Manage inventory levels, approve time-off requests, and report on department KPIs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
- Education: Associate's degree or technical program completion preferred.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook); experience with production scheduling software is a plus.
- Leadership Style: A "boots-on-the-ground" leader with strong delegation skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
