We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to partner with the Operations Manager in overseeing multi-million dollar utility projects. Advanced Job Costing: Monitor the "financial health" of projects. Track costs by phase, allocate labor and equipment to specific cost codes, and alert leadership to budget variances.
Progress Billing & Revenue: Prepare complex progress billings (AIA formats) and manage the specific invoicing workflows required by major developers
Contract & Compliance Management: Act as the gatekeeper for project documentation, including lien waivers, COIs, W-9s, and subcontractor pay applications.
Labor Compliance: Oversee job-costed payroll data, ensuring accuracy for Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage reporting.
Project Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the field supervisors and the office to ensure change orders are documented and billed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Direct experience with Pulte invoicing and workflows.
Familiarity with municipal or DOT-regulated contract requirements.
Background in underground utilities or heavy civil construction.

Software Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, advanced Excel, and Asana
The "Closer" Mentality: Ability to push paperwork through to ensure the company gets paid on time and subcontractors remain compliant.
Credentials: Must be a Notary Public (or willing to obtain commission immediately upon hire).
