Batching assistant helps prepare, measure and mix materials for a chemical production facility. A qualified candidate should have previous mixing or batching experience in an industirial facility.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay:
$22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, measure, and mix materials for production according to detailed batching formulations.

- Operate industrial batching equipment, including mixers, pumps, and scales, while following all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately weigh, add, and record raw materials during the batching process.
- Work closely with the Batching Manager, the batching team, and other departments to conduct daily batch work, resolving any issues that may arise and maintaining production flow.
- Work within the batching team to conduct in-process quality checks and address any areas that need adjustments.
- Perform routine equipment checks to ensure reliable operation.
- Operate forklifts safely in and around production areas, maintaining strict awareness of surroundings to protect team members, equipment, and facility assets.
- Handle, transfer, and store materials safely, using proper PPE, including flame-resistant (FR) clothing. All PPE is company-supplied.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S organizing and safety protocols.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of batch activities as required by training.
