Responsibilities:
Blueprints & Layout: Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, templates, and specifications to determine sequence and methods for fabricating, assembling, and finishing sheet metal products.

Deburring & Edge Finishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material using hand tools (files, edge breakers) and power equipment (air/electric grinders, abrasive disks, sleeves, drill presses, rotary files, and bench grinders).

Part Preparation & Cleaning: Strip maskant and sealant residues from finished chemical-milled parts; smooth surfaces and remove build-ups to prepare parts for subsequent manufacturing steps.

Precision Measurement: Measure and control part thickness and tolerances (+/- .002") using precision measuring tools including ultrasonic gauges, micrometers, calipers, and scales.

Documentation & Safety: Follow internal standard operating procedures, complete required traveler documentation, and manage hazardous waste generated in the work area according to safety regulations.

Project Support: Participate in special project committees or lead minor tasks as assigned.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Good written/verbal communication skills for team collaboration; basic computer skills to navigate production software and reports.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to carry out detailed written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Strict adherence to safety policies, procedure guidelines, and ISO quality standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop blueprints, and technical templates.
1 to 3 years of hands-on sheet metal bench work, deburring, or manufacturing experience preferred (open to entry-level through experienced candidates).
