Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Records: Maintain, review, and adjust general ledger accounts to ensure accurate records in compliance with standard accounting principles.
Accounts Payable (AP): Review, code, and process vendor invoices, manage bill payments, and resolve supplier discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices, track collections, record payments, and process deposits.
Bank & Account Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card accounts, and petty cash transactions.
Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll preparation, timesheet verification, and tax withholdings/remittances as needed.
Reporting: Prepare basic monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) for review by management.
Tax & Compliance Preparation: Gather necessary documents and support CPAs/external accountants during annual tax filings and audits.
Office & File Management: Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or general accounting experience.

Qualifications:
Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel (vlookups, basic formulas).
Education: Associate???s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; High School Diploma/GED required with equivalent work experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting concepts.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information discreetly.
