Responsibilities:
Artisanal Production: Execute the complete bread-making process, including precise mixing, shaping, diligent proofing, and baking a diverse daily menu of high-quality breads (e.g., sourdough, whole grain, and specialty varieties).
Quality & Consistency: Strictly adhere to established recipes and production schedules, ensuring every loaf meets our high standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
Process Ownership: Manage ingredient inventory, assist with mise en place, and ensure the proper rotation and storage of all raw materials to minimize waste.
Collaboration & Scheduling: Work closely with the caf?? team to align daily production volumes with customer demand and fulfill special order requirements.
Kitchen Integrity: Maintain an immaculate and organized kitchen, strictly upholding all local food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Specific experience working with natural leavens (sourdough starters) and heritage or whole grain flour varieties.
Experience with scaling production for both retail and wholesale demand.
A natural passion for learning and the curiosity to experiment with new techniques and recipes.

Qualifications:
Experience: Previous professional experience as a Bread Baker or in a high-volume bakery/caf?? environment is required.
Technical Knowledge: Strong, proven understanding of classical bread-making techniques, including complex fermentation, dough development, and accurate oven management.
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Scheduling: Flexibility and willingness to work a typical baker's schedule, including early mornings (starting around 5:00 AM) and required weekend/Saturday shifts.
Attention to Detail: Acute focus on precision, consistency, and maintaining pride in producing a perfect finished product.
