Responsibilities:
This role focuses on drafting and programming 3D sheet metal parts using SolidWorks and multiple CAM platforms. Candidates must provide documentation of SolidWorks training or certification. Responsibilities Create 3D models and detailed drawings of sheet metal components in SolidWorks Program CNC equipment using CAM software, including Amada 4i and AlmaCam Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and manufacturing requirements Optimize part layouts, nesting, and tooling paths for efficient production Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability Troubleshoot design or programming issues on the shop floor Maintain organized documentation of programs, revisions, and part files
