Responsibilities:
Training Program Development: Creating, implementing, and evaluating efficient training programs, with an emphasis on virtual delivery.
Curriculum Design: Assisting in the development of training needs assessments, curriculum, and surveys.
Content Creation: Drafting, designing, and updating training materials for new and experienced staff.
Training Delivery: Leading professional training sessions on topics including New Worker Orientation, BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare, EBD Medicaid, and other key IM programs for IM Consortia, IM Tribal agencies, and MiLES.
Collaboration: Working closely with the BEOT Training team to identify and address training needs related to IM policy, process, and systems.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying and incorporating new technologies to enhance the virtual training experience.
Knowledge Maintenance: Staying up-to-date on all IM programs and activities to ensure instructional materials are current and accurate
Qualifications:
- Proven Training Skills: Outstanding verbal and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to create and deliver clear, engaging training materials in a virtual environment.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Extensive knowledge of federal regulations, state statutes, and policies related to BadgerCare Plus, Medicaid, Caretaker Supplement, and FoodShare eligibility requirements.
- Analytical & Technical Proficiency: Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and maintain effective working relationships with various agencies and staff.
- Adult Education: A strong working knowledge of effective adult education methods and best practices.
- Program Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Wisconsins IM programs and the CARES Worker Web system.
