Responsibilities:
As a Case Manager, you will serve as a guide for individuals and families navigating housing assistance programs. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Meeting with applicants to conduct initial interviews, gather applications, and explain program guidelines clearly.
Verifying household information such as income, assets, and family size to ensure program alignment.
Helping qualified applicants locate suitable housing and acting as a professional liaison between tenants and landlords.
Preparing, reviewing, and organizing official paperwork, including leases and contracts, to ensure complete and accurate digital files.
Performing regular data entry to maintain, update, and track the progress of client files over time.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
An Associate or Bachelor degree in human services, social work, public administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in public housing programs, social work, case management, or community outreach.
Experience reviewing legal or regulatory documents for administrative compliance.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Strong digital literacy with experience using computer systems for accurate data entry, retrieval, and file management.
Excellent basic mathematical skills for accurate financial calculations.
Great verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain guidelines to the public in a helpful manner.
High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
