This is a full-time quality assurance role located at a high-precision aerospace machine shop in Anaheim, CA. Responsibilities:
Inspection Execution: Inspect machined parts using a CMM, hand inspection tools, and surface plate setups to ensure they meet close tolerance requirements.
CMM Programming: Program the CMM using the PC-DMIS application.
Quality Documentation: Complete in-process, first article, and AS9102 final inspection dimensional reports.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Advanced CMM Skills: Actual programming capability within the PC-DMIS application is highly desired.
Industry Background: Prior experience specifically within an aerospace or machine shop-related environment is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
Experience Baseline: At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical inspector in a machine shop environment OR prior experience as a machinist with a strong willingness to be trained as a QA Inspector.
Software Experience: Practical, hands-on experience using PC-DMIS.
Equipment Proficiency: Experience using standard inspection hand tools, such as micrometers (mics), indicators, and height gages.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret ANSI Y14.5 engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with filling out and completing AS9102 reports.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using email, Microsoft Word, creating Excel spreadsheets, and saving PDF files.
