What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine bend allowances and production specs
- Select, set up, and adjust proper punch and die tooling for each job
- Set up and operate CNC controlled brake presses for standard orders and prototype runs
- Write set-up sheets and utilize advanced programming functions
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure exact quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical certificate preferred
- 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC brake presses
- Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to calculate bend allowances
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
- Solid math skills, mechanical aptitude, and keen attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
