Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines (mills, lathes, or plasma equipment depending on facility needs)
-Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders
-Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain accuracy
-Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
-Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
-Maintain accurate production records, including part counts and quality checks
-Ability to follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Collaborate with supervisors, welders, and fabrication teams to ensure production goals are met
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
-Solid mechanical aptitude and problem?solving skills
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
-Reliable transportation and good work history
-Experience with G code editing
-Familiarity with plasma, laser, or waterjet CNC systems
-Background in steel fabrication or structural steel production
-Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Qualifications:
-3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience in a steel or heavy fabrication environment
-Complete understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and material behavior
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication blueprints
-Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
-Experience performing machine setups, offsets, and basic programming edits
