The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating woodworking CNC machines (currently Biesse) to fabricate and modify plywood components with a high degree of
accuracy. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality through precise machining and inspection processes.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and work orders to determine machining operations and optimal sequencing
* Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC woodworking machines to produce precision components
* Measure, lay out, and verify dimensions and tolerances using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
* Inspect machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine faults; modify and debug CNC programs as needed
* Calibrate and adjust machine programs to maintain accuracy and efficiency
* Develop and implement corrective actions for any specification deviations
* Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor part replacement
* Maintain accurate inspection records and complete quality reports
* Manage and monitor plywood stock inventory levels
* Collaborate with supervisors, leads, and team members to support production goals
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
* Post-secondary or industry training in machining or CNC programming
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to read and interpret production drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
* 3???5 years of experience operating CNC woodworking machinery in a furniture, cabinetry, or similar manufacturing environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
