The ideal candidate will have experience operating waterjet cutting equipment or working with CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate waterjet cutting equipment according to production requirements.
Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
Load and position materials accurately on the cutting table.
Select and verify appropriate cutting parameters for each job.
Monitor waterjet operations to ensure accurate and consistent cuts.
Perform measurements and quality checks on completed parts.
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Identify and report equipment, material, or quality issues.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning as required.
Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work with other team members to meet production schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Previous waterjet operator experience.
CNC machine operation experience.
Experience with CNC programming or machine controls.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of material types, cutting processes, and tolerances.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other precision measuring equipment.
Manufacturing experience in a precision or metalworking environment.
Experience with abrasive waterjet systems.
Basic troubleshooting and machine setup experience.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
Ability to read and follow work orders and technical instructions.
Ability to use basic measuring tools.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow safety and production procedures.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
