As a CNC Operator, you will be the core of their daily production, responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery and ensuring precision preparation of parts for hardening processes. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle shop tasks like deburring, sanding, and essential cleanup. Flexibility is key, as you'll be trained to assist across various departments and must ensure all required documentation is completed accurately to keep the workflow moving seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
CNC Operation & Monitoring: Initiate daily machine startup and continuously monitor operations to ensure accurate product measurements and quality control.
Documentation & Compliance: Complete and compile all necessary receiving and outgoing paperwork for the Hardening Notebook. Accurately complete and submit daily/weekly/monthly inspection sheets to the Supervisor.
Workflow Support: Perform daily deburring of parts to maintain continuous workflow. Assist with straightening and sanding blocks as directed by the supervisor.
Shop Operations Support: Assist with saw operations and fill in as needed for multiple departments after proper training. Learn simple setup and operations on the TM2 Mill.
Logistics & Maintenance: Unload incoming/outgoing deliveries. Daily dump trash and chip barrels and weekly dump saw drop buckets.
Safety & Cleanliness: Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals. Keep work areas, especially the lathe, clean and free of debris. Organize tools, ensuring they are clean and in place daily.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Up to 1 year of related experience or training in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Experience with CNC machine operations or a willingness to learn simple setup procedures quickly.
Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation or blueprints is a plus.
Experience in keeping detailed register entries and coordinating with internal staff to keep records updated.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A strong commitment to upholding all company policies, procedures, and sanitation plans.
Dedication to continuous quality improvement and accuracy in documentation.
