Responsibilities:
Programming & Optimization: Translate engineering blueprints into precise instructions using Inventor or Fusion 360 CAM software. Optimize cutting paths and troubleshoot programs.
Machine Setup & Operation: Setup fixtures, calibrate tools, load materials, and operate Haas mills and Gildemeister lathes according to the production schedule.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, squares, etc.) to ensure strict adherence to tolerances.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine machine upkeep (cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement) and maintain a highly organized workspace.
Safety & Collaboration: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a healthy workplace and collaborate with team members for timely customer delivery.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Software: Direct, hands-on experience with Inventor CAM or Fusion 360 CAM software.
Equipment Familiarity: Prior experience specifically setting up and troubleshooting Haas CNC mills and/or Gildemeister lathes.
Advanced Inspection: Experience managing dimensional discrepancy reporting and working directly with production supervisors on quality control.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in CNC programming.
Blueprint Reading: Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints to determine setup and forming processes.
Math Skills: Solid understanding of geometry and trigonometry to calculate complex coordinates, angles, and tool radii.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver weights exceeding 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during a shift.
Soft Skills: Highly dependable with a strong attendance record, great energy, and the flexibility to change tasks within the shop as workload demands.
