Schedule: Friday - Sunday (3-Day Weekend Shift)
Available Shifts: Day (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM) OR Night (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate Turret Punch Press machinery according to production schedules.
Sharpen, inspect, and maintain punch tooling to ensure maximum machine performance.
Verify part dimensions against blueprints using precision measuring instruments.
Safely operate forklifts or material handling equipment to load sheet metal.
Document daily production data accurately and keep work areas clean.
Cross-train on other metal fabrication machines and shop operations as requested.

Skills:
Advanced experience in turret press tooling sharpening and diagnostic maintenance.

Qualifications:
Technical Experience: Proven experience setting up and operating turret punch presses or similar metal fabrication machinery.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately read and interpret mechanical blueprints, work instructions, and precision gauges.
Physical Demands: Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.
Equipment Operation: Experience operating a forklift, or the ability and willingness to be trained.
Flexibility: Willingness to cross-train across various secondary shop departments as needed.
Screening: Must successfully pass a mandatory background check and pre-employment drug screening.
