The successful candidate will act as a consultative expert, spending approximately 75% of their time proactively developing new business through networking and prospecting. Responsibilities:
Business Development: Proactively originate new customer relationships through referrals, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
Strategic Networking: Represent the brand at architecture and design firms, commercial association meetings, and builder home shows to position products in building plans.
Consultative Sales: Recommend technical solutions for company products that influence customer buying needs while maintaining expertise in commercial building codes.
Project Oversight: Ensure all quotes and orders are accurate, collaborate with operations for successful installations, and manage customer concerns for first-time resolutions.
Technical Education: Train customers on manufacturer installation guidelines and precise measurement techniques to ensure product accuracy.
CRM Management: Leverage CRM tools to manage all customer interactions and maintain proactive communication.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

Experience:
2-4 years
Qualifications:
2 to 4 years of related experience in commercial sales and technical product expertise.
Technical Proficiency: Must be able to accurately read, interpret, and take-off blueprints and engineering drawings.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build value and address objections during the sales process.
Project Management: Proven success in managing strategic, complex sales projects and lengthy sales cycles.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system tools.
Travel: Ability to travel locally for networking and site meetings; mileage reimbursement is provided.
Interpersonal Skills: Highly energized by meeting new people and skilled at relating to a variety of customers.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a focus on detail and follow-through.
