Responsibilities:
As a Technician, you will handle everything from single-workstation repairs to wide-area network (WAN) troubleshooting, adapting your approach to meet the specific goals of each client.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for diverse client environments.
Network Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain local and wide area networks, ensuring optimal uptime and security.
System Deployment: Handle the physical installation, relocation, and upgrading of workstations, servers, and communication equipment.
Security Management: Identify and remove spyware/viruses and implement robust security protocols to protect client data.
Technical Advisory: Consult with clients to recommend hardware and software solutions that best fit their operational needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of service requests, repairs, and network configurations within our internal tracking system.

Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and server virtualization.
Networking Expertise: Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users with patience and clarity.
Problem-Solving: A resourceful mindset with the ability to research and develop solutions independently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces (under desks or in server closets) as needed for hardware installations.
Associate???s or Bachelor???s degree in IT/Computer Science preferred.
2+ years of experience in a technical support or network administration role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional) are a significant plus.
