The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field staff
Conduct preconstruction meetings and jobsite walkthroughs
Ensure all permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained
Budget & Cost Control
Track project budgets, labor hours, and material costs
Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders
Identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality
Prevent margin erosion through proactive oversight
Client Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Provide weekly updates, progress reports, and schedule changes
Manage expectations and resolve concerns professionally
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Quality & Safety Management
Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Conduct regular jobsite inspections
Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance
Address deficiencies and punch list items promptly
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project files, logs, and daily reports
Process RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Update project management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, etc.)
Prepare close out documents and warranty packages
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
3-7 years of construction project management experience
Strong understanding of residential or light commercial construction
Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and scopes of work
Proficiency with project management software
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing $1M-$5M annual project volume
Background as a superintendent, foreman, or lead carpenter
Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
