We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Controls Engineer to design, develop, and supervise all aspects of our electrical control systems and automation processes. In this role, you will be the bridge between mechanical hardware and digital intelligence. You will be responsible for everything from initial PLC programming and HMI design to on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of complex automated machinery. Responsibilities:
Create and read electrical schematics, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and layout drawings.
Develop and optimize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code and HMI (Human Machine Interface) software from scratch.
Program and integrate robotic cells, motion control systems, and sensors into existing manufacturing lines.
Lead the installation and startup of new equipment, ensuring all systems meet operational specifications.
Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement automated solutions to improve cycle times.
Ensure all control systems adhere to industry safety standards (such as NFPA 70 or ISO 13849).
Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Hands-on experience with industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
Expert-level ability to use a multimeter and software diagnostics to find the issue.
Ability to select the right sensors, motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and actuators for a specific application.
Ability to design intuitive interfaces for operators using software like FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or WinCC.
Experience programming 6-axis or SCARA robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
Familiarity with ISO 13849-1 and calculating Performance Levels (PL) for machine safety.

Qualifications:
Bachelor???s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Proficiency in major PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or Beckhoff) and SCADA systems.
Deep understanding of servo systems, gear ratios, and high-precision positioning.
