This role will support daily office functions with a strong focus on customer service, administrative support, and billing-related tasks. The selected candidate will also assist with board meeting preparation and provide general support to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries (water, sewer, and trash services) via phone and in person

Process payments and assist with billing and invoicing
Perform data entry, including water meter readings
Post and reconcile weekly deposits
Assist with customer communications (emails, letters, notices)
Support newsletter creation and basic website updates
Prepare board meeting materials and attend meetings to take notes
Provide general administrative and organizational support
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in a public agency, utility services, or administrative office
Familiarity with billing systems or customer account management
Experience with Canva or similar tools
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
